Jūratė Sabalienė, who was appointed in September 2017 as the director of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) of the Republic of Lithuania, explains her commitment as well as the back-up strategy to ensure the access to medicines of all Lithuanian patients in a financially sustainable manner. Could you please introduce the role of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) in the country?
